December 17th Story Hour

Join us for the December 17th Song & Story Hour!!

Host Shawna Williams will welcome:

1. Children's author Louise Sutherland as she reads from her new book Moon's Light

3. Coppin Academy teacher Ambika Ramsundar will read a favorite boook and share some special Holiday treats

4. An online story created by CSU's Digital Connector's program

Visit to the Baer School

In November 2010, The Mondawmin Song & Story Hour visited the Baer School in West Baltimore! We read 4 stories and played 4 interactive games. The students and staff were a lot of fun. They have some great hula hoopers! Thanks Mrs. Williams, Drs. Harvey & Brinson :)

May 28th Story Hour Time & Location Change!!!

The Song & Story Hour is taking a field trip in May. The May 28th Song & Story Hour will not be held at Mondawmin Mall this month. Check us out at the following location:

Event: Annual Spring Fling
Time 1:00-2:00PM

Thanks For The Donation!!!


On Tuesday, March 9th, Mrs. Esperance Sutton of WOBECO (Women Behind the Community), Tiffany Jones, and Shernay Williams of Coppin State University's Public Relations Office donated 3 boxes of new children's books and CD's to The Mondawmin Song & Story Hour.

Thanks Coppin Academy Poetry Club

Thanks to all of our volunteers for another successful Song & Story Hour. Special thanks to Glenda Abney (Coppin Academy teacher & Coppin graduate student) and Coppin Academy's Poetry Club for a great show on Friday! The audience loved the performances.
